Quorn (SA)
Quorn is a beautifully preserved historic town located at the gateway to the
Flinders Ranges. Known for its heritage architecture, dramatic landscapes and
old-world charm, Quorn has long been a popular filming location for major
Australian productions such as *Wolf Creek*, *The Shiralee* and *Gallipoli*.
One of Quorn’s most famous attractions is the **Pichi Richi Railway**, a
heritage steam train journeying through rugged ranges, deep cuttings and
spectacular scenery. The town is surrounded by walking trails, wildlife,
lookouts and access points into the Flinders Ranges National Park.
ShowcasingOz TV will be capturing Quorn’s history, heritage railway,
dramatic film locations and local stories during our 2026 filming journey.
