Location: Travelling Australia
Contract Term: 22nd July 2026 – 22nd December 2026 (with view to future seasons thereafter)
Compensation: $1,200 per week gross

About the Role
ShowcasingOz TV is a national Australian travel series highlighting real places, real stories,
and authentic tourism experiences across every state and territory.
We are seeking a highly capable Videographer / Video Editor who is willing to travel with a small team
during our Season 1 filming journey from July to December 2026 and help produce broadcast-quality footage
across regional and outback Australia.
What You'll Be Filming
- Motels, hotels, caravan parks, and unique accommodation stays
- Local attractions, tours, and tourism operators
- Scenic landscapes, towns, and regional communities
- Interviews with owners, operators, and locals
- Small businesses such as restaurants, cafés, bakeries, mechanics, and other local operators
- Behind-the-scenes footage for social media and promotional content
At times, the two videographers may split coverage across different locations, meaning you may occasionally
be required to film certain businesses, operators, or locations independently while the other videographer
captures content elsewhere.
🎥 Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a videographer with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Ability to operate professional video equipment including cameras, drones, gimbals, microphones, and lighting
- Experience shooting with professional cinema or mirrorless camera systems
- Ability to edit fast-turnaround content using professional editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Experience with colour grading, audio mixing, and exporting for web and broadcast formats
- Ability to shoot in indoor and outdoor environments, including low-light and fast-paced situations
- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, audio capture, framing, and visual storytelling
- Clean and stable shooting style suitable for professional broadcast-quality production
- Knowledge of file management, backups, and on-location data handling
- Ability to coordinate effectively with the second videographer to maintain visual consistency across production
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a small production team
- Comfortable with extended travel and filming in regional and remote locations

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and presentable when dealing with clients and operators on-site
- Confidence working one-on-one with business owners and filming professionally without direct supervision at times

- Ability to work for an extended period on the road, away from home
- Happy to work weekends, early starts, and long filming days when required
- Reliable time-management, able to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality edits
- Comfortable adapting to a flexible filming schedule across regional and remote Australia

A positive, reliable, and creative videographer who enjoys travelling, meeting people,
and capturing meaningful stories. Must be comfortable working closely with the business founder,
co-presenter, and second videographer, while also being capable of filming independently when required.
🔎 Contract Conditions
This position is offered on a contractor basis for Season 1 (July–December 2026).
Applicants must hold a valid ABN and will be responsible for managing their own
tax and superannuation obligations. Subject to performance and business growth,
there is potential for the role to continue into Season 2 and beyond.
